STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS Before we begin with any embroidery, we will need to construct the tea towel. Once you've cut fabrics to the dimensions suggested in the "Materials List", place the pieces right sides together. Line up the edges and pin in place. When cutting the fabrics, be sure to cut a straight line on all four sides of the fabric. This will make lining your edges easier. TIP With the right sides still together, serge the raw edges of the two fabrics together. NOTIONS TIP Now, create a 1/2 inch rolled hem on all four sides. To do so, fold your raw edge in 1/2 inch and then fold over one more time to hide the raw edge. Pin in place as you make your second fold. Next, sew along the inside of your hem and remove pins as you go.
