steps CREATING THE TOWEL TIP m n Place your first piece of appliqué fabric, face up, over top of the placement stitches. Tape fabric in place if needed. The next machine step will be the tack down stitch for the appliqué fabric. o p Repeat steps ‘L-N’ if your design has any remaining appliqué fabrics. You will then run the embroidery steps of the design. The last machine step of the design will be the marking stitch showing you where you will hand-sew the button appliqués. Trim away the excess fabric as close to the tack down stitches as possible. Once all the embroidery steps have been completed, tear away the design from the stabilizer. The next set of instructions will show you how to make the buttons that will be attached to your towel. Your towel should look like this up to this point.
