Blanket Stitch Appliqué steps CREATING BLANKET STITCH APPLIQUÉ a b To begin, lay your garment right side up and completely flat. c d Unfold your garment with pins facing up. The pins should now line the center of your garment. e f Trim away excess paper from the template design. Fold your garment in half and place pins along the folded edge. Note: be sure to only pin the front of the shirt. Using your embroidery software, print out the template for the design you have chosen. Be sure to print template to actual size for accurate placement. Note: depending on size, the template may require two pieces of paper. Line up the template design and tape in place as shown.
