Welcome to Booster Stadium On behalf of Toombs County athletics, I would like to take this time to welcome you to Booster Stadium. The “Pit”, as we like to call it, is steeped in tradition for over 50 years. We have had many players, band members, cheerleaders, and coaches grace this field in the past and countless fans as well. These people will ever be linked together by their love of the Bulldogs and Redcoats, as well as the memories made here that will last a lifetime. We are thankful that you as community members, parents, friends, family members and business people continue to support our children the way you do. In a time when other schools face challenges such as dwindling fan support, sagging community enthusiasm, and limited fundraising capability, you continue to set the standard. We realize that we are truly blessed to be in a community that puts value in what we are trying to accomplish as we work with all our athletes. We appreciate your support and accept the challenge of adding value to the young people we work with every day. We believe we can add value to these athletes by stressing commitment, sacrifice, honesty, integrity, and teamwork. We feel the need to impact these children spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. We have high expectations for each and every athlete we coach and teach. There are no secrets to putting a winning team on the field. Determination and hard work are the keys to success on and off the field. We want our kids to be determined and embrace hard work. We believe that by stressing the character traits mentioned above and teaching them to work harder than they ever thought possible, we will develop young men and women destined for success on and off the field. We hope you enjoy your time here tonight. Be loud and proud! Know that the young people and coaches on the field have put in a lot of hard work to get to this point and they deserve our cheers!
