Our Catholic Identity At Jesuit, our roots in the Catholic faith inform everything we do. Our young men are challenged to become aware of God’s presence in their lives and to connect with their faith in a personal way. Saint Ignatius preached that we can fi nd God in all things. All of our students participate in theology classes, annual retreats, monthly Masses, and refl ections to help them discover and be shaped by God in their lives, to be men of great faith and purpose. Men for Others The mission of developing “Men for Others” is at the spiritual core of our students’ four years at Jesuit. We ask each student to dedicate his interests, talents, and time to engage the community in the service of others. The Community Service program, a required part of our curriculum, asks our students to bring their time and talents to those in need, immersing themselves in the Tampa Bay community and beyond. What begins as a curricular requirement of 150 service hours — over four years — becomes a true passion for helping those in need. Our students learn DID YOU fi rst hand that lasting change begins with them — that they have KNOW? the ability to inspire hope, provide need, and leave an active and positive impact on the lives of those who need it the most. Jesuit students completed 41,224 hours of community service during the 2016-17 school year. Annual Freshman Retreat Annual Muscular Dystrophy Camp DID YOU KNOW? Each year, Jesuit students have 28 spiritual retreats and 10 service immersion trips to choose from. Annual Special Olympics Event Annual Alumni Memorial Mass
