20,000 new men engaged in discipleship in over 1,000 churches. Six years. Long term, low pressure. Short Term, High Pressure—Our Two Greatest Needs There are times, however, when you need to violate the long term, low pressure principle. I need to ask you to help us— right now. We have two urgent needs, and you can meet at least one of them almost immediately. First of all, we need to grow our Field Team. With 330,000 churches in America, we are brushing the surface when it comes to helping pastors and leaders disciple more men. We’re looking for a man who: Is strongly committed to his relationship with Christ. Is a man of integrity with a humble and teachable spirit. Feels called to help men become disciples. Feels the local church’s primary purpose is discipleship. Is comfortable talking to anyone, no matter their status. Who do I know that fits the description of a successful Area Director? Got someone in mind? Email me their name and contact information at baclemmer@maninthemirror.org and we will follow up with them. (See more at mimfieldteam.org) Secondly, we need to fund the efforts to support our field team. Currently, it takes about $4,500 to recruit, train, deploy and support an Area Director, whose work will, on average, result in 20,000 new disciples in five years. I don’t have to explain the massive ROI that represents. It’s been a long summer. The Lord has provided for all our needs literally week by week. We praise Him for His faithfulness! But we are severely limited in our ability to recruit and support our Area Directors right now by a lack of funding. We urgently need 100 people to step up and help us get one or more Area Directors started at $4,500 for 2017, or $375 per month for at least one year. You can call us today at 407-472-2100 and sponsor a new Area Director with an annual gift or monthly commitment right now (or go to mimdonate.org). We’re grateful for the faithfulness of our many partners and contributors. We pray for you regularly. And we covet and appreciate your prayers, counsel and gifts. May your efforts to disciple men be fruitful in the long term as you seek to bring God’s Kingdom to bear in your family, church and workplace.
