Mayor’s Message Welcome to Sunfest 2017 Welcome to Ocean City and the local’s favorite season at the beach! Although the summer has ended, Ocean City’s fantastic fall season is in full swing with the 43rd Annual Sunfest brightening the Inlet Lot and beach for four fun filled days. On behalf of the City Council and the citizens of town of Ocean City, we welcome you our annual fall celebration and the start to Ocean City’s extended season. Ranked number one arts and crafts festival in the nation, Sunfest is a spectacular event, filled with unique arts and crafts, great live entertainment, delicious food and fun the whole family will enjoy. Just steps from our world-famous Boardwalk., Sunfest offers something for everyone and appeals to families of all ages as a place to gather with for concerts, hay rides on the beach and stunning sunsets. Entertainment during the four-day festival is free, with the exception of our outstanding headlining acts. Dance under the open air in front of the outdoor stage or listen to the waves crash in-between songs in the Entertainment Pavilion. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will take the stage on Thursday night and country music star Clint Black will perform crowd favorites on Friday night. On Saturday, Christopher Cross will perform his greatest hits for music lovers. While you’re here, we hope you enjoy everything Ocean City has to offer, including a 10-mile beach, world-famous Boardwalk, great restaurants and accommodations.
