PARTY MONSTER From male model to Pride performer, Joey Suarez is ready to sing and dance for you JJEREMY WILLIAMS oey Suarez has been making music since he was a kid. Born in South Florida and raised in Texas, he has a love for upbeat, infectious pop music that “makes you feel good and makes you want to dance.” The former model has several singles out and will be debuting a new one when he heads to Orlando to perform at the Pride on Church Street party in front of Hamburger Mary’s on Oct. 13. Suarez spoke with us about music, love and Pride ahead of his big Florida debut. I READ THAT YOU HAVE A LARGE FAMILY WITH LOTS OF SIBLINGS. WHAT WAS IT LIKE GROWING UP WITH ALL THOSE BROTHERS AND SISTERS? Yeah, I am one of 12 kids. The best way to describe living in that is “controlled chaos” laughs. But I enjoyed it. YOU HAVE A FEW SINGLES (“LOVE ME BACK” AND “HIGH IN THE SKY”) THAT YOU HAVE RELEASED, WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
