Schoedinger Payment Policy To lose someone you love can be a traumatic experience. It can be overwhelming emotionally and seriously impact one’s judgment. Therefore, it is important to be realistic with respect to funeral expenditures. We want to honor your loved one’s life and create a healing experience for each of you, yet make sure your choices are affordable. It is important that the funeral arrangements reflect your wishes and stay within your budget. We believe in the recognition and meaningful celebration of a life that has been lived and will assist in creating an appropriate service to meet your needs. Before you leave today, your funeral director will discuss the following terms for payment with you and provide you with an itemized list of the goods and services you have selected. For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment: 1. Third-Party Items - Payment for sales tax, clergy, church, organist, or other third-party items is required at the time of arrangements because each of these requires payment when their service is provided. Payment may be made in cash, check, credit card, or a money order. 2. Funeral Account - We are a family-owned business that strives to treat every family we serve fairly and equally. In an effort to provide the finest services and merchandise possible while minimizing our cost to do so, we are dependent upon our clients for arranging payment at the time of arrangements. • A fully-funded pre-arranged funeral. • Payment may be cash, personal check, money order, or most major credit cards. • We accept life insurance policies that can be assigned to the funeral home. Any policies that are contestable are not accepted. Policies must be verified by the funeral home prior to the scheduling of services or placement of an obituary. • Payment arrangements can be made through Premier Funeral Funding for those persons who qualify. In cases where the deceased’s estate must stand the burden of paying the funeral expenses, we ask that family representatives pay the funeral expenses and file claim for reimbursement with the loved one’s estate. At least one family representative and Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service must mutually agree upon financial responsibility. Please let us know which method of payment you prefer and if you have any questions. Serving All Members of the Community Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service is dedicated to meeting the needs of the entire community and believes that all grieving families should have the opportunity to mourn their loss with dignity. To that end, we will work to develop a meaningful service within the means of the families in the communities we serve.
