Fun & Interest Lake Ronkonkoma Lake Ronkonkoma is the largest lake on Long Island. There are three popular beaches surrounding the lake and two very popular picnic areas. Centereach Pool This popular Pool which is open to the public is located on Hawkins Rd & Hammond Rd, Centereach. The Centereach Pool is open 7 days a week in Season from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Season generally runs from July 2nd to about September 5th. Robert J Henke Nature Preserve This little gem of a park is located on Pond ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������� and Stony Brook Road. A great place to bring the little ones, this park has a paved loop which runs only .35 miles. This park is well maintained with benches along the main trail and little paths woven throughout for your little one to explore without ever really getting out of your site. Selden Dog Park Located on Boyle Road in Selden, just about a ¼ of a mile north of Middle Country road, Selden Dog Park is strictly for the dogs. It is also a great place to get to know your neighbors and meet other dog lovers. Sit, relax, and let Fido play. There are several Dog parks located in the Brookhaven township, you are fortunate to have one of them located in your neighborhood.
