Be sure to leave a seam allowance if necessary! K L Once the block is completed, remove it from the hoop. Using a rotary cutter and a straight edge, cut the block, leaving a 1⁄2” seam allowance. The smaller picture is an example of your completed block. Continue until all four blocks in the tile scene are stitched out. Continue with several background and decorative embroidery steps until you reach a placement stitch for an appliqué. The next step will tack the appliqué fabric into place.
