ASSEMBLING THE SCENE INSTRUCTIONS A B Take two blocks and find the largest element between those two blocks. The example above shows that the flower is the largest element. C D Using a sewing machine, sew the element together with a basting stitch, slightly inside the tack down stitches. Once satisfied with the alignment, completely stitch the two blocks together with a standard stitch. Note: a basting stitch is used first for easy removal if needed. E F Repeat steps A-E for the other side of the tile scene. The two columns should look like this before stitching them together. Now that the blocks are stitched out, place each block in the correct place. This step will ensure every element is ready to be sewed together. Line that element up as close as possible with the right sides facing together and pin in place. Open the blocks so they are facing up and use an iron to butterfly your seam open on the back of your two blocks. HEART TILE SCENES | Full Collection | 104
