ASSEMBLING THE SCENE INSTRUCTIONS S T Fold the binding back on itself, so that the right side of the binding is facing up. The length of the binding should be away from the quilt at this point. U V Starting 1/2” from the corner of the quilt, sew along the edge of your binding with a 1/2” seam allowance. Repeat steps S-V for each corner of your quilt. W X Press the binding open. This step will help you turn and fold the binding to the back. Sew along the edge using a 1/2” seam allowance, but stop stitching 1/2” from each corner. Then, sew at a 45 degree angle to the edge of the binding. Remove the quilt from the machine for the next step. Now, fold the binding up with the right side facing together again. Align the edge of the un-stitched binding to the next edge of the quilt top. To join the beginning and the end, simply overlap the end with the beginning by about 2”.
