STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS A B Place a piece of batting over the top of the squaring stitches. Be sure to completely cover all sides. C D Trim the excess batting as close to the tack down stitches as possible. E F Next, run Step 3, which is the tacking stitch for the base fabric. Note, do not trim the fabric until later to help avoid possible pulling issues. Begin by hooping a piece of no-show mesh stabilizer and stitch Step 1 of the design. This is the squaring stitch. The entire design will be inside of these squaring stitches. Step 2 of the design will tack the batting in place. Lay the base fabric over the batting tacking stitches, completely covering all sides.
