Combination Squares Each of the following large 16.0” x 16.0” blocks are created by joining large, medium and small blocks together like a puzzle. Once you stitch each of the designs used in the block separately, follow the number system to sew them together as shown in the tutorial section. Be sure to use the same size blocks in each square, All A size, all B Size etc. We have numbered each design in the example combination squares to signify the order in which you need to stitch your designs together. Start by stitching blocks 1 and 2 together first. Then, join block 3 and set aside. Next, stitch blocks 4 and 5 together, then join block 6. Lastly, join blocks 1.2 and 3 with blocks 4, 5, and 6 completed your 16.0” x 16.0” combination square.
