Joining Your Blocks The collection has 66 block designs, each of these designs are different and unique from one another. We have made it easy for you to put the blocks together. We’ve provided 25 different combination squares, with each of them containing 5-7 block designs. You simply embroider the designs and stitch them together to create a large block. Then you can choose to sew any number of larger blocks together to create a quilt, wall hanging or pillow. All of the combination squares show you the layouts with a guide on how to sew them together. All of the quilt blocks have been designed with a tacking stitch visible around the whole block once it is created. Once you are done embroidering the design, use your rotary cutter and ruler to trim each block. Remember to add your seam allowance to the outside of the block. If you do this, each block is exactly the same size. There is no need to measure and center the design! When you are joining the blocks to create your project, simply sew the blocks together by lining them up. The squaring stitch will then be hidden in the quilt giving you perfectly joined and centered segments. Folded Fabric Blocks Some of the blocks use the folded fabric technique. You will notice on the design pages that each folded fabric is numbered. The numbers correspond to the thread sequence and dictate the order in which the fabric is placed. You can see the numbers to the left along with an example of the machine step sequence below. 1. Placement stitch - folded fabric 1 2. Folding stitch - folded fabric 1 3.
