Stitching Blocks Together B Start with two blocks that have equal lengths. In this combination, we are starting with these two blocks. Once you have completed all of the blocks in the combination squares, lay them out in the layout you wish to stitch them together. Each of the combination squares have a layout guide that shows the arrangement of the blocks. These are shown in the beginning of the tutorial. D Remove the blocks from the sewing machine, and press open the seams as shown. F CHRISTMAS CLASSICS | Premium Collection | 47 A C Join the two blocks by placing them right sides together and pin in place, matching up the tack down stitches of each block. Sew slightly inside the tack down stitch using 1/2” seam allowance. Remove the pins as you go. E This is what your first two blocks should look like once stitched together. Following the number order given in the combination squares, stitch your next two blocks together. In this example, these are the two blocks we now will be stitching together using steps C-D.
