When you volunteer with The Naples Players, you become part of our family and an integral part of making our quality productions possible. We are committed to providing you with a volunteer experience in which you will have fun, learn something new, and know that your time and talent are appreciated. My personal history with TNP started in 2013 when I started volunteering in the costume shop. I helped our Resident Costume Designer, Dot, dirty up the prisoner costumes for Les Miserables with paint and well-placed tears and abrasions. When I finally got to see the show, there was a certain thrill in being able to pick out the pieces I’d had a hand in. At that point, you could say I was hooked. I propped a Tobye Studio show (with some help from my predecessor stage manager on a musical, and then jumped into stage management. Though I am now on staff as TNP Volunteer Director, I still make sure to take time for myself and volunteer in the areas I love. And that’s just my story. There are as many ways to volunteer with TNP as there are volunteers. We thought you might enjoy meeting some of them on the next few pages. FOR THE BIRDS.
