30 Niki Demma Pasley, who along with her husband Tim, is a trainer and owner of Equisports, noted that Bailey is a relatively new horse for Reese, yet the two have developed a wonderful bond. Such a partnership is essential in the show ring, Niki said. “She displays poise and accuracy in the show ring, while exhibiting sportsmanship and setting a great example,” Niki said of Reese, a fifth grader at Williams Elementary in Parrish. For Reese, shows are fun, and give her goals to work toward in her lessons. “You get to see other riders and they’re fun to watch,” Reese said. “You evaluate yourself against others. You get to meet people you probably wouldn’t get to meet, bond with your horse, and be out in nature. “I’ve done pretty well,” she said.
