Fred Ridley, a Tampa attorney, has
been selected to be the new chairman of
the Augusta National Golf Club, home
to the Masters tournament. Fred is wellacquainted
with the course since he played
in the 1976 Masters. Since the club opened
in 1933, there have only been six other
chairmen. Fred was the 1975 U.S. Amateur
champion and is the first chairman to have
played in the Masters.
Caleb Wild, a high school senior
at Tampa’s Ambassador Christian
Academy, won the top prize at the Vero
Beach Wine + Film Festival for his film
Cycle and flew to Toronto to collect his
winnings, which were to shadow Peabody
Award-winning Director Jeff Woolnough
on the set of the critically acclaimed show
The Expanse. Next year’s Vero Beach Wine
+ Film Festival will be held from June 7-10.

Don Pintabona have expanded and evolved
their FarmTable Kitchen at the Sundial in
downtown St. Petersburg into the Italianinspired
restaurant FarmTable Cucina that
serves rustic dishes such as house-made
pastas, pizzas. fresh breads and focaccia. Items
such as fried cauliflower, broccoli, ravioli,
yellow fin tuna crudo and a 16-ounce Niman
Ranch 35-day dry-aged Kansas City strip are
not to be missed. You can complete your meal
with a hazelnut semifreddo with devil’s food
chocolate cake, toasted Italian meringue and
graham cracker whipped cream. Executive
Chef Jeffrey Hileman and his sous chef Jeff
Thornsberry continue on staff, along with
Justin Yu as general manager to lead the
expansion.
