A4959 has some of our best ever yield potential in
the mid-season maturity range. It has very good
grey leaf spot tolerance combined with excellent
grain quality. Exceptional dry down and high
yields will be its hallmark. We recommend it on
better dryland ground or irrigated ground.
“This year we planted 4 Augusta hybrids and they all
look really good! We are particularly impressed with
A4959 and A7767 which are yielding 200 and 230
bu/ac respectively and both have exceptional grain
quality.”

“I have been planting several of the Augusta Seed
varieties for the last 3-4 years and have been very
satised with the results. Most of those seasons
have included a lot of hot and dry stress! This
year I am particularly impressed with A4959. It
started off too wet then turned off dry but this
hybrid is looking really good! I can’t wait to start
picking to see how it does!”
Bradley Grubb - Advance, NC
“The Augusta 4959 had some of the most impressive
grain quality of any corn I used this year. It averaged
225 dryland bushels per acre. I would recommend
this corn to anyone.”
Glen Pendleton - Elizabeth City, NC
“I was very
impressed with
how the A4959
performed this
year. It put on
a nice ear and
showed some
good ear ex. The
A4959 averaged
180 bushel and my A7767 went 190 bushel. I am
pleased with my Augusta corn.”
