Life’s a Beach Events
By Mom
We here at the Beachcomber are all about silly contests and good times so you can imagine
my thrill when Brantley Hackney agreed to be front and center for our Gandalf the Grey
Beard Contest. Throughout this past year, we (and when I say ‘we’ I mean his mom and me)
have begged him to shave the nightmare that has perched upon his chin. He has steadfastly
refused … until now! So here’s the deal: Beginning November 1, 2017, we are taking bets on
when Brantley will shave the hair nest that has become his face (the ladies want to see that
good looking man again). He has until December 31st, 2017, at midnight. He has promised he
will do this when he feels ‘ready,’ but has guaranteed that it will be in the time frame. Send me
your date and time when you think Brantley is going to whip out that razor. Whomever is closest
will win something fabulous. Please email your responses to me at info@tybeebeachcomber.
com. There will be no collusion. I don’t know when this is going to happen, although I am open
to bribes with money, food or booze (hey, everyone can be bought).
