Place a piece of batting over the top of the squaring stitches.
Be sure to completely cover all sides.

Trim the excess batting as close to the tack down stitches as
possible.

Next, lay your base fabric over the top of the placement
stitches, completely covering all sides.
To start, hoop a piece of no-show mesh stabilizer and stitch
step 1 of the design. This is the squaring stitch.
Note: The entire design will stitch inside of these squaring
stitches.
Step 2 of the design will tack the batting in place.
Your batting should look like this once trimmed.
