TRAVIS WALL (Vincent, Artistic
Director). is this year’s Emmy® Awardwinner
for Outstanding Choreography,
an honor he also received in 2015. He was
the runner-up for the Fox reality show So
You Think You Can Dance Season 2 and
is currently a resident choreographer for
the national dance competition show.
He is a seven-time Emmy-nominated
choreographer for his work on So You
Think You Can Dance and Dancing
with the Stars. He choreographed the
music video for Carrie Underwood’s
“Something In The Water,” which won
the CMT Video of the Year, as well as
stage shows for Justin Bieber and Demi
Lovato. Additional television credits
include choreographing the 82nd Academy
Awards®, Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary
Special on ABC, the 2010 MTV Video
Music Awards and an episode of Pretty
Little Liars featuring Maddie Ziegler.
Feature lm credits include choreography
for The Wedding Ringer starring Kevin
Hart and the contemporary numbers for
the feature lm Step Up Revolution. He
had the privilege of working with First
Lady, Michelle Obama, on her Let’s
Move Campaign where he created the
GimmeFive routine that was performed
on Ellen and at The White House. Travis
teaches with NUVO Dance Convention.

NICK LAZZARINI’s (Leo) multifaceted
dancing abilities have leveraged his
career within the United States and
abroad. Nick is the season one winner
of the Fox reality show So You Think
You Can Dance and has been featured
in countless publications, including the
cover of Dance Spirit Magazine twice.
He has performed with music sensations
such as Adele on Dancing with the
Stars, Kelly Clarkson at this year’s
American Music Awards and Florence
and the Machine at The MTV Video
Music Awards. Currently, he teaches on
tour for JUMP Dance Convention. Nick is a
founding member of the Los Angeles

based dance company Shaping Sound.

CHANTEL AGUIRRE (Lily) trained
with San Francisco Ballet, The Dance
Company of San Francisco and studied
at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She
has performed with San Francisco Ballet,
Cedar Lake, Lunge Dance Collective,
Soul Escape, Tayeh Dance, Stacey
Tookey’s Still Motion and Shaping Sound.
Commercially, she has worked with
Beyoncé, Adele, Florence and the Machine,
Taylor Swift, The Goo Goo Dolls,
Bruno Mars, Christina Perri, and Carrie
Underwood. Television credits include:
Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You
Can Dance, The Academy Awards®, MTV
Video Music Awards, American Music
Awards, Billboard Awards, Victoria’s
Secret Fashion Show, GLEE, XFactor,
Ellen, Two and a Half Men and Mad Men.
She travels teaching with NUVO Dance
Convention.
BARTON COWPERTHWAITE (Sebastian),
a Denver, Colorado native, played Damon in
the Lifetime original lm Center Stage: On
Pointe, understudied Jerry in the National
Tour of An American in Paris, played Paris
in Encores! The Golden Apple. He has
danced for Lar Lubovitch, Pontus Lidberg,
Michelle Dorrance, Lorin Latarro, and
many more. Barton is overjoyed to be
joining Shaping Sound!
MICHAEL DAMESKI (Jude), aged
21, was born and raised in Sydney,
Australia. In 2014, he appeared on the
Australian version of So You Think You
Can Dance and was crowned Australia’s
favorite dancer. Michael met Travis
Wall for the rst time during his time on
the show and little did he know that he
would become a part of Shaping Sound
dancing beside Travis. Michael is so
excited for this chapter with Shaping
Sound and is looking forward to being
surrounded by these incredibly talented
people.
