PLATEAU EAT RIGHTERS
The Plateau Eat Righters,
a not-for-profit corporation
was formed by Larry and Patsy
Nesbit of Crossville for the
purpose of instructing people
how to eat the right foods for
their blood type so they can be
healthy, and they started a coop
type plan to furnish healthy
foods so others can get the
foods they need at a reduced
cost.
Larry and Patsy have instructed
nearly three thousand
people in the Upper Cumberland
area on the subject of
eating right. A series of 1-1/2
hour classes that last 22 weeks
are based on the book Eat Right
for Your Type, by Dr. Peter J.
D’Adamo. Larry has conducted
classes on how to Eat Right
since 2004. He does classes for
small groups and also individual
consultation. Patsy also
helps with classes.
Larry has taken training
from Dr. D’Adamo at the
Southwest College of Naturopathic
Medicine, Tempee,
Arizona and also at Bridgeport
University, Bridgeport,
Connecticut. Also has trained
with Dr. D’Adamo in Crossville
in 2008 and in Nashville
in 2010.
At the time Larry began
Eat Right he was on 13 medical
prescriptions. He has been
off of all medications since 10
months after beginning Eat
Right in 2003.
Patsy is a cancer survivor.
At the time they started the Eat
Right program she had just finished
cancer radiation in 2003
and wasn’t expected to live for
2 years (she is still alive and is
healthy today!).
