Some Words From What’s Inside
The Publisher
As we close out this year, many of us will review 2017.
Some things were good, some not so good. For me,
planning for 2018 is more satisfying than looking back at
2017. Live and learn I say. Take what worked, what didn’t
work, and change what you can. This is the opportunity
to move forward.
With that in mind, inside we give a gentle reminder to
keep the non-profits as one of our “change what you can”
items. Not just during this holiday season, but year round
as you will read in our “Reaching Out” article. Large or
small, they should not be forgotten.
As usual, we hope you enjoy reading us this month. From
Jen Wead’s column on her “love for pho” to the Traditions
of the Epiphany, all the way to the Pet Photo Contest
Winner! (Remember to send in your pictures. Email
to sales.communitymagazine1@gmail.com with your
contact and pet name).
You’ll find plenty of things to do this month listed in the
Out & About section. And get ready for January! Kumquat
Festival, BBQ & Blues and more! And, if you’re into
wine, the San Antonio Sunrise Rotary is taking orders for
their Kumquat Royal Wine! I guarantee it is delicious!
Till next month, from all of us at Community Magazine,
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
