Theatre Company in St. Petersburg,
says a new program at the theater will
admit teenagers at no charge and offer
those between 20 and 29 years of age a
$15-a-month pass for all the productions.
These new programs are designed to
help build future audiences. This is the
theater’s 40th season and these new
initiatives are getting their start through
a $25,000 matching donation from Scott
Wagman and his wife Beth Houghton,
who are loyal supporters of American
Stage and the St. Petersburg community.
David Lesser and Bobby Gross,
principals of Windstar Homes helped
sponsor the Holiday Stroll to benefit A
Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay. Guests strolled
through two custom-designed residences
that were built by Windstar Homes to
raise funds for the organization.
Janet Paroo has been elected the
chair of The Florida Orchestra. Janet
has been a member of the board since
2014 and became treasurer in 2016. She
is a St. Petersburg native with extensive
business experience who has previous
leadership experience with not-for-profit
organizations.
Stephen Heller, Community Dental
Clinic board president, announced that
Pamela Iusi is the new executive director
and Sheila Jasper is the new clinical
coordinator for the clinic in Clearwater.
Chef Keith Williamson has opened Bulla
Gastrobar in Tampa on Howard Avenue where
he serves traditional Spanish fare such as this
Churrasco Moruno of skirt steak, with a sweet
potato and mojo verde and peppercorn sauce.
