to fish, so this fishing village is perfect for
him. I loved going out in the boat with my
husband to see the sunset. The grounds
are well kept and people friendly. We saw
a ton of wild turkeys and a mom and her
babies, just walking through the park.”

REMO AND MARK BEAVER FISHING 4.6
3816 Cowhouse Rd, Lorida / (863) 655-0820
The man, the myth, the legend—Mark Beaver—professional
fishing guide, has “gone fishing” for 37 years. Beaver has
been featured in Florida Sportsman and Bass Pro Shops
Next Generation. He does one thing and one thing only:
Bass fishing expeditions, where people can book four,
six or eight-hour tours to catch Florida largemouth bass.
His stomping grounds are primarily on Lake Istokpoga,
home to some of Florida’s best bass fishing.
“People just like to get out on the lake, it’s so peaceful,” said
Beaver. When it comes to good fishing, Beaver said it’s all
about the weather. “On a decent day, we’ll catch a pretty
good amount of fish. You never know how many you can
catch—but people are always looking for that big fish."
