Sheila Cowley’s Flying, co-produced by Tampa
Rep and the Studio@620. She lived several years
in Chicago, performing at Chicago Shakespeare
Theatre, Illinois Theatre Center, and Drury Lane
Theatre, among others, and has performed in
regional theatres nationwide. She appeared as
Sleeping Beauty in the musical Disenchanted!
at the Straz Center in Tampa, for which she won
the BroadwayWorld.com Tampa award for Best
Featured Actress in a Musical. She appeared
nationally with the show Menopause the Musical
performing in Reno, Nevada, upstate New York,
and on national tour. She is an active member
of the Tampa Bay arts community, working in
multi-disciplinary offerings, singing in venues
such as The Palladium Side Door and serving
as the Creative Director of First Unity. She won
the inaugural People’s Choice MUSE Award
from the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance in 2014.
