USING ORGANZA TO CREATE A
WATERCOLOR ILLUSION
We love to embroider flowers in our designs, but wanted
to create a watercolor look without having to use actual
paint. Layering multiple pieces organza allowed us
to mimic this feel. The trick is using different shades
of organza for the appliqués within the design. We
recommend using at least two or three different shades
to re-create the designs shown in the Wildflowers
in Watercolor Collection. Explore your creativity and
experiment with a few shades before stitching out your
final designs.
