The next machine step will be the tack down stitch for the
organza appliqué fabrics.
Using at least 1/4” seam allowance, trim away all organza fabrics
from the tack down stitches.
The next machine step will be the decorative stitches over top
of the organza fabrics. Use steps I-O for the remaining organza
appliqué elements of the design.
You are now ready for the folded fabric borders of the design. The
first step is the placement stitch for the first folded fabric.
Place the first folded fabric, right side down, 1/4” inside the
placement stitches as shown.
The second step for folded fabric borders is the folding stitch,
which secures the fabric in place and guides you where to fold
your fabric in the next step.
