cut the twine to t your child’s head (we used used about about 24 inches) and tie tie that that to to the the holes. Be Be sure sure to
make the strap loose enough so that the eye eye patch patch can be be slid slid off off and and on on easily.
Continuing with the pirate hat, once the corners corners are are dry, turn turn up the front portion and and the back back to
match (about four and a half inches) and fold fold outward. Then, glue the top and bottom bottom corners corners to
one another leaving the middle of the hat t open.
After this, it will be time for your child to decorate ecorate the the hat hat with feathers, a a rim, and and the the letter P. First,
you will need to measure out an 18-inch length,ength, and and one-inch inch height, piece piece of yellow yellow construction
construction
paper which can be cut and glued. Then, add add the feathers feathers by placing placing them themon on a generous generous amount of
glue, and do the same with a six-inch piece ce of of pipe pipe cleaner made made into into the shape of of a a capital capital P.
Once everything has been added, allow w the the pirate pirate hat hat to to completely completely dry dry so it it will be
ready for your kid’s imagination.
