Still, it’s obvious when talking to the boys that, despite
the challenges of sailing, and the scary moments they’ve
experienced, they truly love it. Harrison wants to be on a sailing
team in high school, and says he’ll continue sailing when he’s
older as a hobby — but in a bigger boat. Quinn says he wants
to sail competitively in high school and in college.
“I just like being on the water, feeling the wind,” Quinn said. “It’s
just fun.”
According to Harrison, sailing for him is less about winning races
and more about the sport itself - the fun and excitement of it. For
Harrison, an outgoing and social kid, sailing is also a chance to

“We love shing, being out on the water,” Harrison said of himself,
his brother and his parents. “This is just another way to be out
on the water.”
