CREATING THE FRONT
We will start by stitching out the front of the bedside holder first.
Run the first step of the design, which will be a squaring stitch.
Next, lay a piece of batting down to cover the squaring stitches on
all sides.
Run the second machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
for the batting. Trim away any excess batting from outside the
squaring stitches.
Run the next step, which is the placement stitch for the base
fabric.
Lay your base fabric over the placement stitches.
The next machine step will tack down the base fabric.
Notice the section in the middle that is not tacked down, this will
get covered later by the accent fabric.
