Step-by-Step
Instructions
Hoop a piece of no-show mesh stabilizer and run your first
placement stitch.
B
Place a piece of batting over the placement stitch, making sure
you have it completely covered.
Next, run the tackdown stitch. After the tackdown stitch, trim away the excess batting.
TIP: Be sure to cut as close to the tackdown stitch as possible so
that you don’t have any trouble attaching your blocks in the end.
Once you’re done trimming, cover the batting with the base
fabric.
TIP: Make sure you give yourself a ½” seam allowance.
The next machine step is to tackdown your base fabric.
