After the batting is trimmed, place the base fabric on top of the
batting, making sure to leave a 1/2” seam allowance.
Once you have completed the decorative stitches, your block will
look something like this.
You will always attach the larger flower petal first. To do so, use
the circular stitch on the flower petal and align that with the
placement stitch.
The next machine step is to run the tacking stitch for the base
fabric. Continue with the echo stitching then complete the
remaining decorative embroidery steps.
The next machine step will be the placement stitch for the first 3D
flower eye.
For the next step, fix the 3D eye in place using tape and run the
tacking stitch for the first 3D eye.
