At the corner, you will need to taper off at a 45 degree angle to
the outer edge of the quilt block.

Next, fold the binding up along the next edge of the quilt block
and pin in place. Use the walking foot and repeat steps R-U
around each corner.
You can now take the binding and fold it back on itself as shown
in the photo.
Our binding was cut a bit short, so if yours extends past the
starting point, that is okay. Cut the excess and make sure to stitch
that portion down as well.

Turn the growth chart over so that it is face down and flip the
binding toward the back of the quilt top so that the binding is
facing up at you. We will create a double fold on to the back of
the quilt with the binding. Fold the binding in toward the quilt so
that the raw edge of the binding meets the raw edge of the quilt.
Pin in place.
You will need to fold the binding again, up over the back of the
quilt just slightly covering the seams. Pin in place.
