CREATING THE ARMS
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
G H
Run the tacking stitch for the velcro appliqué, then remove
the tape.
Use scissors to trim away any excess velcro from the tacking
stitch.
I J
Once the design is complete, remove it from the hoop. Use a
rotary cutter and ruler to trim away the excess stabilizer and
material to a 1⁄2” seam allowance.
The FRONT of your arms/sleeves are now finished.
Set aside, and continue to the BACK file.
K L
We will now create the BACK of the arms.
Since we are using a generic arm file, we will load the
GENERIC3QRT-BACK file. Hoop a piece of No-Show mesh
stabilizer and run the first step, which will be a placement
stitch for the hands.
Using the same fabric as you did in the front of the hands,
lay the appliqué fabric to cover the placement stitches on all
sides.
