Fold your fabric in half to find the center, and press.
Remove the basting stitches and your project from the hoop.
Place the tea towel onto a stabilizer.
TIP: Depending on which collection you’re using, follow the steps
for each individual design.
The next step is to load your designs (recipe6a & recipe6b).
TIP: If the design you select for your tea towel does not include
basting, use the “auto basting” option on your embroidery
machine.
Follow the machine steps for your design, pausing to eat chips
and guacamole from time to time.
AUTO BASTING?
What’s auto basting, and does my machine do that? Auto
basting is a feature that many embroidery machines have
that enables you to first place a basting stitch around the area
your project will stitch onto. This prevents the embroidery
from shifting during the stitch out.
To learn more about how magical your embroidery machine
can be, try reading through your manual, or calling your
machine dealer to schedule a machine class. You can also
check out your machine manufacturer website to see some of
the amazing things you can create!
