Join the panels together in your sewing machine just as you did
in step C.

Your pillow top should look something like this.

Pin all around the circle to join the two layers, leaving an opening
in one of the panels (see circled).
NOTE: This opening will be used to turn the design later.
Steam press open the back seams on all joined pieces.
With your back fabric facing up, place your completed piece, right
side down, on top. Use a rotary cutter to trim the excess back
fabric around the circle.
Sew just inside the tacking stitch all around the circle, leaving the
open section unstitched.
