There are so many styles and techniques
to use for hand stitched embroidery. The
classic and charming look of hand stitched
embroidery is a technique highly sought
after by digitizers world wide.
I know, it’s hard to believe that the skill that
you may have learned as a child is difficult
for master digitizers to replicate. The Je
Ne Sais Quoi of something so familiar to
skilled embroiders is nearly impossible for
machines to learn. At Anita Goodesign, we
know well that the secret ingredient to any
embroidered work of art is LOVE.
But love is not always simple, and for
that, we have just the thing for you. A
look into the past, to remind you of the
same techniques you know and love,
and a helpful reminder of some beautiful
collections you can enjoy to take the “Je ne
sais quoi”, back to “Je sais tout!”
Hand embroidered items are incredibly
special and unique. But for a lot of
us, the measuring and constant strain
complete large-scale projects. Even
with needle punch embroidery, it takes
a great deal of time and materials to
complete even a simple motif.
