juxtaposed with the bright white
appliqué gives the tile scene a
dreamy “Starry Night” appearance!
CREATING
YOUR
TILE SCENE
When selecting your fabrics for this collection, let the
threads do all the talking! We suggest using solid colors
for your base, and we incorporated a white linen with a fun
metallic sheen for the appliqué to give a bold contrast to the
dark background. To get an idea of fabric yardage needed
for this tile scene, we have provided the measurements
needed to create the scene in our A size blocks. Remember,
in order to keep a cohesive look in your quilt, choose a
binding strip fabric that matches your base fabric color.

FABRICS
NOTIONS
No need to reach for
anything fancy! A good
rotary cutter, sharp pair of
embroidery scissors, and
a straight edge ruler is all
you will need to complete
these tile scene blocks.
THREADS
For anything fluid motion,
we suggest layering
complimentary colors to
make each block cohesive.
To recreate that Van Goghinspired
look to our tile
scene, a variety of blues
grays and silver tones were
incorporated.
