The first step is to hoop a piece of No Show mesh and run the
squaring stitch.
Next, take a piece of batting and place it over the squaring stitch.
Make sure you cover the squaring stitch entirely.

The next machine step is the tacking stitch. Use embroidery
scissors to trim the excess batting around the tacking stitch.
After trimming the batting, take the base fabric and place it
on top of the batting. Make sure you leave at least 1⁄2” seam
allowance.
TIP: Depending on the fabric, consider using a fusible backing
like Pellon 860F Ultra Weft for high density designs.
