Finishing Up
Use the corner seam as a guide and fold the binding down,
as shown.
Start sewing 1/2” from the edge and repeat steps O through
R for the remainder of the binding.
Use an iron to press the binding, giving it a clean seam.
Next, fold the binding up, squaring the edge, and pin along
the edge of the quilt again.
Once you make it back to the start of the binding, make sure
that the binding overlaps the starting point, and finish sewing.
You can trim the excess.
Flip the quilt to the back. Fold the binding in so that the raw
edge is aligned with the raw edge of the quilt. Press in place.
