Folded Bag
For this tutorial, we are making a floral embroidered bag.
The best part about this bag is that it gives two looks in one!
We made it fold-over style as well as double-sided by using
two colors of leather and two of the collection’s included
embroidery designs. Then we lined with complementary
fabric, and created a snap tape closure to keep items secure.
This bag is perfectly sized for a variety of things - a journal,
tablet, Anita Goodesign embroidery CDs, and don’t forget
the coordinating cardholders!
This project collection is a fabulous way to create customized
bags and cardholders that will keep you organized and
stylish, all while fashionably folded.

Begin by hooping a piece of tear away stabilizer to fit your hoop.
Then run the first machine step, which is the placement stitch for
the base fabric.
Place the base fabric right side facing up making sure to cover
the entirety of the placement stitches. Then run the next machine
step, which is the tacking stitch for the leather. Remember to
match your tacking stitches to the fabric you are using.
