Begin by hooping a piece of No Show Mesh stabilizer to fit the
hoop. Then run the first machine step, which will be the squaring
stitch for the batting.

Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch for
the batting.

Once the batting is trimmed, your quilt block should look
something like this.
Place the batting over the squaring stitches, making sure to cover
them entirely.
Using scissors, trim away any excess batting on all sides of
the quilt block.
Place two additional pieces of batting over the block. These
layers of batting will form the trapunto portion of the design.
