Yuletide Skirt | | 124
The standard embroidery
set allows you to lay down
the decorations with thread,
creating a woodland holiday
motif that connects between
the three tiers of the blocks.
FOUR STYLES IN ONE
We chose to highlight four quilting techniques in this one
project. Each of these four classic styles can be used by itself
in a tree skirt, or you could combine multiple styles in the
same skirt for a cute patchwork look!
Blanket stitch appliqué is
showcased in the first quilt block
set. Use felts or other fabrics that
won’t fray to have a beautiful edge
on all your appliqués.
The next set features crazy
stitch appliqué that lends
to the eclectic patchwork
style of the quilt. Use various
patterns, textures, and colors
to highlight the difference
between each appliqué!
Free motion quilting is a
simple style that requires
only one step and one
thread color! One line
weaves throughout the three
skirt blocks creating classic
Christmas shapes!
