Repeat steps B through E with the remainder of the blocks until
each row has been joined to the blocks beside it.
You are now ready to sew the rows together. Take the first two
rows and arrange them up as they will be in the finished quilt.

Place the 2 adjacent rows on top of each other, design sides
together, lining them up at the squaring stitches. Pin in place.
Repeat steps C through E to join the rows together.
IMPORTANT: When connecting perimeter square blocks to the
scalloped blocks, stitch only to the tacking stitch line rather
than all the way to the edge.

Since you only stitched to the tacking
line at the points where the scallop
blocks meet, you will need to overlap
the seams to lay flat (inset: back of seams).
Once all your rows and border blocks have been joined, it is time
to add the back fabric. Cut a backing about 3-4” larger than your
quilt top. Lay your quilt top right side down, then apply the back
fabric right side facing up. NOTE: To prevent shifting, use spray
adhesive to join the quilt top and backing.
