Use a steam iron to press the binding flat from the quilt top to
prepare it for the finishing steps.
Once the binding has been sewn in place from start to finish, it
should look something like this. Your binding is now attached and
ready to finish.

Using a pair of scissors, snip the binding seam allowance into all
the interiors corners, stopping at the stitch line as shown above.
Use a hand sewing needle and thread, insert it from the bottom of
the binding close to the seam (left image), fold the binding into a
mitered fold. Hand sew the front of the miter (right image).
Do not cut or finish off the thread at this time.

From the back side of the quilt, bring the fold of the miter through
the clipped seam you made earlier.
Now, fold the binding back over the tacking stitch line and pin as
shown above. Finish hand-sewing the mitered fold, repeating this
process for all remaining interior corners.
