a new perspective
Here, we opted to turn our quilt for a more
horizontal presentation of the main blocks.
To add a bold framing option, the 4” sashing was
used throughout the main quilt top, still using a
mix of all the border shapes around the edges. By
using the 8” x 12” main blocks, you can utilize two
sizes of borders, simply join a pairing of border
blocks to match the length of the 12” block. For
example, to border the 12” blocks, we used a
combination of two 2” border strips and one 8”
border blocks, while also swapping that same
combination for a 4” and 8” border pairing. The
possibilities are endless!
